Our Care Ministries seek to care for people by providing emotional, physical, mental and or spiritual encouragement and support through physical provision, presence, prayer, counsel and/or Scripture. We care so that you may grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Care Options
We have a team of skilled and caring volunteers who want to come alongside you and help in a variety of practical ways. We all need help at some point so just ask! Some of the practical ways we offer help:

- Small household repairs
- Yard work & odd jobs
- Meals (grief support, illness, etc.)
- Rides to medical appointments or the store
- Financial support (rent, groceries, bills, etc)
- Pregnancy support (baby supplies, counselling, etc)
- and much more!
Thrifty Corner
We provide a drop-in clothing donation centre to serve and assist families and individuals in our church and extended communities.

- Open for drop in the second Tuesday of each month or email for an appointment
- 6:30-8:30 PM
- Infant to adult size clothing and footwear
- Toys and more
- Donations can be dropped off in the bin outside the church office

For wisdom and help to deal with life’s hurts, confusion and issues, we recommend the following counselling providers that we believe are trustworthy and faith friendly. Springvale offers financial assistance toward counselling costs for those in need. Please contact Community Care by email, to request financial assistance for counselling services.
Our Soul Care Ministry exists to help individuals find freedom from sin, past hurts, habits or demonic influence through a process that seeks the Holy Spirit to identify issues needing change or correction.
We provide a holistic approach to walking with people and helping them experience the freedom and authority of Christ which leads to mature, victorious, and humble living for Christ. Through a guided journey participants go through a process of exploration, prayer and discovery that leads to healing and growth.

Prayer Wall
Our online Prayer Wall is open to anyone who wuld like to request prayer, share something they are thankful for, or for those who want to be Prayer Warriors for those in need. Prayer items can be submitted anonymously.

Life Groups are safe places of spiritual community which meet regularly in locations around York Region to promote learning from God’s Word, prayer, open sharing and acts of service. Life Groups are the heartbeat of church life at Springvale and we currently offer blended groups, women’s groups, men’s groups, and age-specific groups for young adults all the way up to seniors.
