It is important that as a church we look outside of ourselves and find ways to tangibly be the love of Jesus to our community. What better time of year than over the Christmas season when generosity and needs are both at all time highs. So during the month of December, we will be providing the opportunity to give to three specific projects over and above our regular offering both outside our walls and on our walls.
Take an ornament from one of the trees in the foyer and replace it with a donation of brand new socks, hats, gloves or blankets. These donations will be given to:

This Christmas season we would like to financially support two local organizations: Richmond Hill Community Food Bank and Inn from the Cold.

For the last two decades we have intentionally bypassed needs within our own building to focus on staffing, ministry, debt, parking lot, and growth needs. During this time, our building has slowly succumbed to aging and disrepair. So, after we have given the first $18,500 to those outside our walls, we want to direct the remaining amount in the offering to a new project: “Repair and Refurbish the Upper Floor and Chapel.” The chapel and upper floor of the older building are in dire need of repair and refurbishing. We will complete electrical repairs and updates, repair water damaged walls, replace the aged and tattered flooring, address potential mold issues, repair damaged drywall, and create needed storage areas for our growing ministries like Community Care. We estimate a cost of $250,000 to $300,000 to repair and refurbish the upper floor and chapel. This is a board approved project that will start with the Christmas offering and be extended until completed.
We have other methods of payment if a credit card is not preferred.
Please make a note that your financial gift is for Christmas Offering so we can designate it appropriately.
